Eco-Friendly Choices… One Business Card At A Time

My business cards are all hand made with recycled seed paper I make from scratch using my old scraps of paper. As an artist, I use a lot of scratch paper or end up with mis-prints, so I found a way to re-purpose this paper into something new. I use non-invasive species wildflower seeds in my business cards so each one can be planted. Once they’re planted, a little sunlight and water will help them grow into wildflowers that pollinator species like bumble bees love! This can help these species thrive in their natural ecosystems and promote biodiversity.

Making environmentally conscious and sustainable choices is important to me in my daily life so I knew I wanted to approach my business endeavors the same way. All of my packaging is either recycled and/or biodegradable. Rather than plastic packaging, I use glassine bags, biodegradable cellophane bags, paper, and cardboard.
