Inspiration
I love the ocean and the moon and have always been drawn to both the beauty of the sea and the sky. After visiting the aquarium for my birthday this past year, I fell in love with (became borderline obsessed with) Moon Jellyfish. I was awestruck by their beauty and fluid motion in the water and wanted to capture their dreamy essence in my own style. While real moon jellies don’t actually appear iridescent, the iridescent colors I used in the illustration captured the way I envisioned them and felt while admiring them. Aren’t they stunning creatures?
